The grow your own movement is gaining momentum among the next generation, but growers today often face a lack of space, skills, tools, and community support to garden confidently. We’re here to help.

giving everyone the opportunity to grow

and have a lot fun along the way…

the patch match

The simple idea that there is enough land available for everyone to be able to grow but there is often not the access. Waiting lists for allotments can be over 10 years in urban areas as well. We want to bring together mentors, growers and those with garden space to share. We are promoting the concept that you can match with people of all ages and abilities who share a common interest to grow vegetables.

the ecosystem

SproutClub amplifies the voice of the many amazing garden associations and community initiatives nationwide.

SproutClub creates a powerful network of individuals and groups committed to the sustainable and self-reliant food systems that benefit our communities.

the know how

One of the perceived barriers to starting to grow is a lack of knowledge combined with an overwhelming amount of uncharted online information. SproutClub provides simple guides on how to get started, as well as promote platforms of growing experts and a community to learn together.

the inspiration

Vanessa Branson, Founder of SproutClub

From a maverick family of green fingers and flying entrepreneurs, Vanessa is a champion of global, cultural and ecological initiatives.

After listening to a radio interview with a mother despairing that the rising cost of energy left her with little choice but either feed her kids or heat her home. Vanessa set about finding a solution to help us all become more resilient.

She had visited Ukraine during the war and the need for national resilience was also at the forefront of her mind.

And so the idea of SproutClub was born, initially as a patch match to connect those with some spare garden space to someone wishing to grow vegetables and has now broadened in scope to encompass all aspects of the growing revolution.
